Coach Gene Wilson
Coach Wilson is a welcomed addition to the RI Warrior coaching staff. Over the last five years Coach Wilson has spent his time volunteering and coaching in various youth organizations, SKYBA, Narragansett Youth Leagues and SK Recreation Leagues. Prior to his time volunteer coaching youth leagues. He was the Boys Head Coach at Chariho Regional High School for three years. Prior to Chariho, Coach Wilson spent 22 years coaching at Narragansett High School and 17 years as the Boys Head Coach of the Mariners. During his tenure with the Mariners, in 1995 he was the Coach of the Year. In 1995 he also guided Narragansett to a State Championship. He was inducted into the Rhode Island Basketball Coaching Hall of Fame in 2018. |
