Coach 

Keith Holubesko

Coach Keith Holubesko, our newest member of the RI Warrior coaching staff, has been involved in basketball since his high school days at Rogers High School in Newport, RI in which his team won the Division I State Championship in 1990.  After college, Coach Holubesko embarked on a basketball coaching career that has included a variety of levels over the past 26 years. 

 

Coach Holubesko started his career in 1995 as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Bridgewater State College, before moving on take the Head Varsity Girls Basketball position at his alma-mater Rogers High School in 1997.  While at Rogers, Coach Holubesko joined the world famous Five-Star Basketball Camp staff and functioned as a Station Master, Lecturer and Head Coach.  The experiences with Five-Star afforded Coach Holubesko to travel around the United States and Europe to work with many high-level athletes and coaches, as well as contribute to several instructional books and videos.   

 

Since 2001, Coach Holubesko the been the Head Boys Varsity Coach at Case High School in Swansea, MA, Head Girls Coach at Gaudet Middle School, and is most recently finished three years as an Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the Prout School.  In addition, to coaching interscholastically, Coach Holubesko has also coached multiple years as a RIYBA coach for both boys and girls.  The last three years, Coach Holubesko has been coaching boys AAU as well.   His primary goal for coaching youth level basketball is to provide them with fundamental and advanced instruction to help them make their school teams.
